Kathy went out ten minutes later and Jerry was playing against Mike who was still sitting out with 355 chips. He was quickly blinded out and Jerry took the last game of the year!

Still 5 players at the hour mark. 8 minutes later Jim busted out to leave three players. Kathy had a huge lead with 10,966. Mike was a distant second with 1,615 and Jerry was behind him with 1,419. Jerry went out a few hands later when Kathy's pocket 10's held up. Mike had Herculean task with 271 to Kathy's 13,729. He made a good run, doubling up several times until Kathy flopped a flush to bust his straight.

This was the last game of the 2017 season - we'll still play on the 21st and 28th, but those games won't count toward the championship.

Jerry turned a better two pair to bust out Mikey at the second break. That left 3 players. Jerry led with 7,650. Marv was next with 5,590 and David was still a threat with 4,760.
Ten minutes before the 2 hour mark, David hit a set of queens to bust Jerry's top two-pair. That gave him a huge lead with 12,862 to Marv's 5,138. It ended a few minutes later when David hit his kicker to bust out Marv. Good game all!
This clinches the online title for Jerry!

Kathy busted Bruce, then a few minutes later, Jerry couldn't hit his straight and she busted him too. She had the lead with 4,822 to Jim's 4,623 and Marv's 555. Jim busted Marv the next hand to give him the lead with 5,193 to Kathy's 4,807. A few minutes later Kathy busted out Jim to take the win! Good Game!

15 minutes later, Jim missed a flush and a straight draw to lose to Marv's pair of 6's. That gave Marv 11,686 chips to Kathy's 4,132.
Kathy had taken the lead by the 2 hour mark. She had 8,172 to Marv's 7,828. Anyone's game!

Four players at the second break, but Dave was just barely hanging on. He went out in the very next hand. Barb had the big lead with 7,910. Bruce was next with 5,275 and Jim still had a shot with 2,715.
20 minutes later it was Jim with the big lead when he busted out Barb who couldn't hit her open-ended straight draw against Jim's top pair. Jim had 12,514 to Bruce's 3,486.

Jerry took out Jim a few hands later. That put him just ahead of Marv with 6,033 to Marv's 5,967.
Jerry had pulled ahead at the 2nd break. He now had 8,695 to Marv's 3,304.
It ended just before the 2 hour mark. Jerry had lost the lead and regained it. Marv shoved with a flush draw and Jerry called with top pair. His pair held up and Jerry won his second game in a row. Congratulations!

Marv went out 15 minutes later when his aces were cracked by Barb's trip 3's. Barb now had the lead with 9,607 to Jerry's 8,393. Jerry hit a string of great hands, ending with a river king to turn his trips into a full house and beat Barb's better trips. Good game Jerry!

Marv went out a few minutes later. Jerry still had a narrow lead, with 6,171 to Jim's 5,829. 10 minutes later, Jerry hit 2 pair to bust Jim's top pair with king kicker. Good game Jerry!

Bruce went out a few minutes later when Kathy rivered trips to bust his two-pair. Jerry still led, but Kathy was closer with 3,867 to his 4,133. Seven hands later Jerry hit two-pair to bust Kathy's pocket kings and take the game!

Barb took out Marv a few minutes before the hour mark. She was now heads-up with Jim. She had 7,024 to Jim's 2,976.
Jim had closed up the gap by the second break. Barb now had 5,851 to his 4,149. Jim managed to hit trips, but Barb made a full house to take the win! Nice game!

They were down to three players at the 50 minute mark. Jerry had the lead with 4,580. Jim was right behind with 3,967 and Barb wasn't far behind that with 3,453. Jim had taken the lead by the hour mark with 5,803. Jerry was in second with 3,519 and Barb was still a threat with 2,678.
Barb had made a great come-back to take the lead by the 2nd break. She had 9,053 to Jerry's 1,642 and Jim's 1,305. It looked like a race for second place.

Barb battled back (despite numerous technical difficulties) to take a small lead, but by the second break she had dropped back. It was Jim - 6,859 to Barb's 3,141 at the second break.
They were almost to the 3 hour mark when Barb hit a set to bust Jim out and take the win. Nice game Barb!!

Fifteen minutes later they were down to three players. Jerry had the lead with 5,414. Jim was right behind with 4,794 and Barb was still a force with 1,792.
By the one hour mark, Jim had taken a slight lead with 5,049 to Jerry's 4,614. Barb was improving as well with 2,337.
Jerry went out in the next hand when he hit top pair, but Jim had the over-pair. That gave him a huge lead with 10,163 to Barb's 1,837.
Ten minutes later, Barb had the top pair, but Jim had hit the straight and the tourney was over. Nice game Jim!!

Five minutes later Kathy hit a set to bust Marv's top pair. At the hour mark, Bruce had taken over the big lead with 4,142 to Jerry's 2,768 and Kathy's 1,090.
Kathy hit a set to take out Bruce ten minutes before the second break. Kathy had re-taken a big lead with 5,753 to Jerry's 2,247. Kathy managed to out-kick Jerry right at the 2nd break to take the game.

TopBack to 4 players for tonight's on-line game. Bruce went out 5 minutes before the first break. Jerry had the lead with 3,316. Kathy was right behind with 3,160 and Jim was waiting for his chance with 1,524.
Jerry had increased his lead to 4,131 by the first break. Kathy and Jim were neck and neck with 1,917 and 1,952 respectively.
Kathy went out 12 minutes after the break. Jerry had a big lead with 7,143 to Jim's 857.
8 minutes later Jerry's pocket 4's were better than Jim's pocket 2's giving him the game. (He actually flopped a set and hit runner-runner for a flush - overkill)
