The year the All Aces Card Club attended two weekends of the 2016 WSOP Circuit event at Harrah's Cherokee Casino.
Thursday
Peter, Jon and Sophie all arrived Thursday. Kathy and I arrived Friday.
Friday
Jon and Peter played in the entry flight for the second ring event. Jon went pretty deep but busted out before making it into the money. Peter made it to day two and guarenteed himself a profit. Kathy & I played in the 7:00 nightly game, but neither of us cashed.
Saturday
Saturday Kathy & I and the Bailey family took a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. We did not pass GO and did not collect $200 - but it was still fun. Peter finished his game from Friday. He finished 206th out of 3,067. Great finish!
Sunday
Kathy & I played in the Senior event. I lasted 4 or 5 hours, but Kathy went way deep. She played for 8 hours and finished 51st out of 1,144 entries.
David and Peter played the next weekend. Peter had used up his luck the previous week, but David played the other Senior Event and finished 33rd out of 568. Another great finish!
